As the walk ends I reflect if one lives with Gray's idea and Lovelock's outcome is the hope of finding the great door that Stephen Graham writes of gone?

 

"As you sit beside a hillside, or lie prone under the trees of the forest, or sprawl wet-legged by a mountain stream, the great door, that does not look like a door, opens."
