Oil, water, light, dye destruction print

40.5 x 50.5cm / 16 x 20 ”

Fabian Miller places his colour fields precisely, understanding how colour intensity denotes physical proximity and knowing that energy is lost or gained by a shift of millimetres. After looking intently for some minutes, the forms begin to pulsate at the periphery, bleeding out into the space around the picture. Fabian Miller has noted ‘Light is a benevolent force which condenses as a physical body in the closed space of a room… a room where light is gathering.’
